Take a Tour of Virtual Car Shows!

With the show circuit temporarily curtailed on Long Island and elsewhere, we offer our own virtual car show as well as links to other virtual shows below. 

​The collection here is drawn from some of the 600 "In the Garage" columns produced by David Fluhrer for Newsday, Long Island's daily newspaper.  The column appears every Friday in Newsday's print auto section, and profiles owners and their special classic and collectible vehicles. We thank the owners for submitting their vehicles and photos for the column.

​You can find samples of the column at our "In the Garage" page and at www.inthegarage.net.  At the latter site, we strongly encourage you to submit your classic or collectible car or truck for a profile in the column if you reside in the New York metropolitan area.  
EDUCATIONAL TIPS:
Think about using this page to engage and educate your kids or grandkids about the world of collectible cars.  Ask them to guess the year or name of the vehicle.  If you're knowledgeable about a certain model, tell them a story about it.  If your family owned one of these cars, share your recollections about what it was like to grow up with them and use them.
